An Introduction
At HOOKED ON SPORT CAMPS each child should have a chance to:

Principal AND OWNER, Jeremy Evans
...Physical Education teacher currently at Ysgol Gyfun Pantycelyn (Llandovery High School). Previous teaching posts include Director of Sport at Llandovery College (and former housemaster). Also taught in London and in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Wide range of sporting interests, coaching qualifications and experiences. Former rugby player of note having played for Wales at every junior level and played senior club rugby for UWIC, Llanelli, Swansea and London Welsh.
Currently involved in coaching teams in a variety of sports in school. Junior rugby coach at Llandovery RFC, junior soccer coach at Llandovery AFC and an awards leader for the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
Interests include running, hiking, swimming, squash and watching sport!
A message from Jeremy -
A few years ago, like many other parents, I was faced with the prospect of deciding what to do with my children during the Summer holidays.
I had previously coached at summer camps in London and Canada and it dawned on me that there was very little on offer in South Wales.
In the Summer of 2000 I took the plunge and ran a couple of camps at Llandovery College and Morfa Bay. The camps were a resounding success, and my two children thoroughly enjoyed them aswell.
Hooked on Sport is now an annual event, most of our campers come back year after year and we rely on reccommendations for most of our business.

Nicki worked in marketing and sales promotion for 12 years before leaving to be at home with her two children. She has been working from home for the last eight years, involved in her family’s nurse training company as well as dealing with all bookings and administration for Hooked on Sport during the summer months.
Interests include swimming, running, cycling and waiting for her children between their various sports clubs!!!!
Rhys LLOYD-Hughes
Having played rugby for Llanelli and London Welsh in his younger years, during his teaching career, Andy went on to become a WRU coach. Andy now spends his time running Morfa Bay Outdoor centre, working closely with Jeremy during the Summer camps held at the centre.

.. is a well traveled sports science graduate who loves life in the outdoors. Since completing his honours degree Rhys has concentrated on developing his skills and knowledge in the field of outdoor pursuits, and currently works full time as a Senior Instructor at Morfa Bay Adventure. Rhys specializes in climbing and water sports
GETHIN JONES
.. is a sporting all-rounder who started off life as a chef before discovering life outdoors was more fun! Gethin is a qualified life guard as well as a senior climbing instructor - enjoys instructing surfing, kayaking and climbing activities

.. is a qualified P.E teacher who now works full time at Morfa Bay and is one of the duty officers at Hooked on Sport camps
